Crystal Tree Promise

I promised the kids that I would send home the recipe for the magic christmas tree. All you need is 2 trees with a base about 2-2.5 inches and 3.5 inches tall. Set the tree up. The kids should knowhow but one tree has a slot half way on the bottom and the other has the slot halfway on the top, insert each tree so they stand up when inserted. Put this in a bowl and let it soak in a hot place for a day.

The solution
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp Mrs.Stewarts bluing (grocery store laundry isle)
1 tbsp table salt
1/2 tbsp ammonia

you can also put food coloring on the tree or color the edges with felt to bring out some color.
