Biography

I may not be a dinosaur at the school, but as far as my age goes, I certainly am. I graduated from BYU and started teaching at the Standoff hutterite colony. This was a great experience with teaching 9 grades at the same time. I then was transfered into Cardston, teaching grade one. What a marvelous grade to teach. It is this grade that you really see the excitement and love of learning develop. I then resigned to stay home with my own four children, Kade - now age 22, Kyle - 19, Kent - 18 and Kayla - 15. We enjoy life on the ranch where I was raised in Beazer. My husband Wes is from Mountain View and when I was asked to teach Kindergarten in Mountain View, I jumped at the chance. I then taught Kindergarten in Mountain View for 10 years part time and then taught Kindergarten/Grade One together for 2 years full time. Now that I am teaching grade 1 again full time, the grade I have always loved, it has been the most rewarding and loving experience. What a great opportunity for me to grow.
